Life has been slightly crazy.
I take that back.
It has been SUPER crazy!
Dave started school again earlier this month with two classes and a lab. I think he really enjoys his classes and what he is learning, but he is under a lot of pressure with school and now a full time job as well as his part time job at the care center.
Dave found out last week that a full time position opened up within his office at the Guard Base and he was picked for the position if he wanted it. This phone call was an answer to our prayers. We have been praying and Dave has been applying for every position available at the Guard Base since December. We are trying to secure full time employment for him so I can either cut back in hours or quit my job all together. I have been working from home for the last year, but the mental and emotional toll is getting the best of me and my desire to be a full time mommy is taking over.
The only unfortunate thing about this job that Dave had handed to him is it has been 'okay-ed' until the end of March. After that, they are going to decide if it is a valuable position and worth funding as a full time-all the time position.
We are keeping our fingers crossed.
With the latest change in Dave's schedule we rarely see each other, but this is another opportunity to trust in the Lord and grow together.
The income for the next two months will be a HUGE blessing. We are so excited to put some more money in savings and pay off our last two loans (gotta love school loans).
Other than this new employment opportunity, nothing has really changed in our lives.
Oh yeah, our sweet little girl turns one next week. I can't believe where the time has gone. She is already walking and saying momma and dadda. I love being a mom and I can't wait to see what 2012 brings for our little family!

Shina, you have a beautiful family! We need to all get together for another temple trip soon!
