Next Wednesday our little girl will turn 9 months old. I can't believe that time flies by so quickly! She has progressed so much and reminds me of an active toddler rather than a quiet infant. She still doesn't have any teeth, but she has moved past biting our fingers and chins and has moved on to shoulders and legs. It is extremely unpleasant, but I can't help but giggle every time.
Her favorite things to do are look out the window's, play with her stuffed animals, go on outings with mommy that involve her sitting in the grocery store cart like a big girl, feeding herself 'big girl' treats and playing with her new best friend Savanna.
I started tending my friends little girl last week so they don't have to put her in day care (what a horrible place). She is only a couple of days older than Peyton and both of them together can get into a lot of trouble. Last week while at my friend Becky's house for our weekly play date, both girls decided they knew how to climb stairs. Who knew something could come so easily to almost 9 month olds! It kind of freaked me out!
Now that Peyton is more mobile she has found herself in some tight spots lately. She got stuck behind our chair in the living room last week. She gets stuck under the kitchen table on a daily basis and she always finds fun treasures in the diaper bag.....
below, Peyton with something that only big girls use....
Peyton's most recent injury that involved blood included the office desk corner and her face.
I love my big girl and the little tricks she is learning.

Time does go so very fast! She sure is a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteShina, she is DARLING! (Just like her mother.) Miss you!!
