Well, regretfully I am not as much of music guru as I once was in high school, but I still enjoy blasting the speakers when a good song comes on.
When I am _______ I listen to....
Happy: Whatever I can sing to that has a good beat so I can show off some of my sweet moves.
Sad: I don't usually listen to music when I am sad because either the music would be depressing and I would end up crying or it would be too happy for me when all I want to be is sad and then I would get annoyed.
Bored: I have a wide array of music so when I am bored I choose whatever I am in the mood for... it could be different genre's like Church or Christmas music or specific artists or groups like The Postal Service or Charlotte Church (those are the first names that popped in my head)
Hyped: Anything that gets the heart beating faster and has a good rhythm for going crazy on the dance floor (or in the passenger seat of the car). Dave and I LOVE dancing and so whenever we hear a song that could even remotely be danced to -we are flapping our arms or doing the sprinkler (usually that is just me because I can't really dance.)(Dave on the other hand is an AMAZING dancer and will pop and lock and do a little break dance.) We have gone to a couple of institute dances since being married and he looks like the total stud on the dance floor who knows what he is doing and I am the chick flapping her arms around doing interpretive dances because I am not that comfortable with my body movement sometimes.
Mad: When I was in high school and I was mad I would listen to Brand New, but now I don't really listen to music when I am mad...
Here is a list of music that I love: Musicals, artists, groups or genres:
*Jimmy Eat World
*Muse
*Marie Digby
*Sara Barellis (or however you spell her name)
*Hymns and Christian music (I am caught blasting the Mo-Tab, FM100 on Sundays and EFY music from my car quite frequently)
*Adele
*The Lion King Soundtrack-Disney
*Frou Frou and/or Imogen Heap
*The Beatles
* Journey
* Wicked
*Les Miserables
*Classical Piano Music
There are so many more, but my brain is dead tonight.
