Wow!
It is amazing how fast everything has been coming up so swiftly! Dave and I are still waiting on our letter, but surprisingly neither one of us are freaking out... well not anymore. Tuesday was kind of rough for both of us and I had to leave work early due to an onslaught of tears and slight panic attack.Wednesday marked week four of our wait for temple clearance. In the rush of everything this week we were able to accomplish some very important things:
1- We mailed our announcements!!

We had a little trouble with the people at Wal-Mart, but other than the tops of my parents names being cut off and Dave's father having his name spelled "Jospeh" and forgetting the "s" on Kohl's everything looked great! Dave and I worked tirelessly ALL day Saturday on them! (We were able to watch Star Trek while doing it so it made the time fly:) )
2- I scheduled a time in the Ogden Temple for my endowment next week... but we have to make sure our letter comes so that I can go through as a bride.
AND
3- Amid the freak out day Tuesday just happened to be, Dave and I were both given Priesthood blessings by close family members that gave us the comfort and reassurance that we so desperately needed.
Dave and I feel very good about our letter and we look forward to our wedding day with a lot of anticipation. It will be well worth the wait!
Shina-you are always so positive! Sorry I missed your bridal shower tonight-I really wanted to be there, but we will for sure make it up for your wedding! I can't wait to see you! Your wedding pics are beautiful and so full of personality! love ya lots and we'll see you soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had a meltdown, just getting to the actual wedding is so stressful! I love you invitations, and we had a bit of the same problem with names getting a little cut off. They are still super cute.
ReplyDeleteAnd I meant to tell you this earlier, but I love the Ogden temple. Neil and I were sealed there, and I never realized the picture potential there, and how beautiful it is. Best of all too, in the back they have added this platform that takes you out over the fountain in the back. So cool, I wish that had been there a few years back.
