LDS Temple

Today David proposed!

After waiting a whole day (after David bought my ring) he proposed. I don't think he wanted me going home without officially being his fiancee:)

Today was our last day to spend time with one another and we wanted to visit the San Antonio temple before we left the state of Texas.

Dad drove us across town, knowing that David had something planned.

I was being my girley self and taking TONS of pictures of the temple! Dave was standing behind me and told me to wait as he got down to "fix his garter" (it keeps his shirt tucked in). He asked me if my hands were cold and I sheepishly nodded my head. He suggested he warm them up, but he only grabbed my left hand:)

He said some amazing things about the temple and preparing ourselves to enter it and be sealed and then he asked me if I would marry him. My eyes were so clouded over with tears and I was afraid if i opened my mouth I would burst unto tears so I nodded my head and then said, yes!

It was a very tender moment and one that I will NEVER forget! He kissed my hand and then I kissed him!

I don't think there is a word known to man that can explain the feelings I have for David. I told him tonight after we dropped him off at Lackland AFB that when we see our Father in Heaven again I am going to give him the biggest hug and kiss a girl can muster for a father! I love Dave so much and I cannot wait to be Tashina Marie Owen. He is the greatest blessing in my life and I am one lucky girl!
